This pose of a serene maiden sitting with downcast eyes conveys that of a deep longing and a heavy heart. She sits on a pillar surrounded by fruit which had harvested with the use of her long dress, which is beginning to slip of her soft frame. This brown patina was cast using the lost wax method. She is mounted on a black marble base and is signed Milo.
