Up for sale is this original Marius owl. It was designed and made in our foundry. This is a limited edition sculpture is the limited edition of 100. The Screech owl is one of my favorite birds. It is often heard at night in the woods surrounding my home but seldom seen. The name is a bit of a misnomer since it does not screech but has a very soft call. They are found in two color phases: red and gray. This owl is perching on an oak branch. This owl is about the size of an adult. He is slightly off balance on the branch and one wing is extending to counter the balance. The colors of tree, leaves and owl are accurate. I have taken pains to make the feather groupings also as accurate as possible.
