As the sun beats down on the pier this gorgeous seagull figures that this post suites him well and that it is the perfect spot to catch some rays and sun bath for a little while. As the salty waves splash against the posts of the pier below he stays high and dry perched on the top of the post also being on the alert of pedestrians dropping any morsel of food. His body is magnificently proportioned and has a great life like feel to him. His webbed feet spread over the old weather post and hold and balance his body in a poised manner. Around the post is a thick docking rope that is tied in a knot adding to this sculptures rustic old sea feel. This Limited Edition sculpture is perfect for any nautical themed room, garden or restaurant. This sculpture was cast suing the Lost Wax Method and has a two toned brown patina with gold highlighting his beak and his feet and he is mounted on a black marble base.
